⭐ Campaign of the month ⭐

A big round of applause this month to Sinful, a leading Danish adult lifestyle e-commerce brand, for their use of gamification as an integrated part of their onsite ‘Birthday Campaign’!

The campaign focuses on celebrating customers, offering them a chance to win a reward of their choice—either a discount code or a free gift – selected by the customer before playing. Sinful’s main goals were to drive sales and collect newsletter signups across all 11 stores.

To achieve those goals and maximise visibility, they promoted the campaign through social media (organic, paid, and influencer collaborations), email newsletter, and website banners.

Game type: Slice it
Game description: To win, customers had 20 seconds to “open” 15 virtual presents.
Prize: The game offers tailored discounts or free gifts with their orders for the product categories in the Birthday Campaign.

This campaign is a fantastic example of how brands can turn special occasions—like their own birthday—into an opportunity to boost engagement, loyalty, and sales through gamification. Another standout element are the added details with animations on both the prize selection page and the winner page. What a great way to provide an immersive experience!

What’s new at Playable?

Here are the newest maintenance updates from our Product team—some of which were inspired by feedback from our amazing customers:

The leaderboard feature is now available in our puzzle game! Ranking is determined by how quickly you can solve the puzzle.

You can now import words by uploading a CSV file, saving you time and effort compared to manually adding them one by one.

We improved how images are resized and adjusted within the canvas, ensuring that quality is preserved – your images are now crisper and in high resolution!

In addition to clicking, users can now swipe across the wheel to set it in motion, offering a very intuitive way to play.
