The role
As our Sales Manager, your primary objective will be to strengthen and expand Playable’s presence from the UK across the EMEA enterprise market by creating and developing new relationships with large-scale organisations across multiple industries. Operating from London, you will play a pivotal role in building our footprint in the region.
In this role, your primary focus will be leading, coaching, and empowering the UK Sales team to achieve outstanding results. At Playable, we believe in leadership from the front, which means you will also maintain a small personal quota to stay close to the market, prospecting select enterprise accounts, running strategic sales cycles, and demonstrating best-in-class execution.
As we offer a category-defining, disruptive technology that challenges traditional marketing approaches, you will need the ability to both understand and challenge existing strategies within enterprise organisations. You will guide the team to inspire customers with new ideas, shape high-impact playable marketing concepts, and expand adoption and campaign frequency through our platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on, high-achieving sales professional who thrives on building new enterprise business while laying the foundation for a high-performing UK sales team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Leading, coaching, and developing the UK Sales & Business Development team
Driving Playable’s enterprise expansion across the UK and wider EMEA region, establishing strong relationships with large-scale organisations across multiple industries.
Maintaining a small personal quota, prospecting select enterprise accounts to lead from the front and model best-in-class sales execution.
Applying hands-on SaaS/MarTech expertise to identify, engage, and convert high-value enterprise prospects.
Planning, forecasting, and tracking team performance, ensuring consistent pipeline growth, accurate reporting, and operational excellence.
Encouraging creative thinking and innovation in how the team attracts, engages, and converts enterprise customers.
Working closely with Marketing on inbound lead management, ensuring timely, high-quality follow-up and conversion into qualified opportunities.
Documenting market, customer, and product feedback, helping shape product development and continuously improve the sales motion.
Reporting team performance, pipeline health, and strategic progress to the VP Sales.
Your Profile
A hands-on sales leader or aspiring manager who thrives in driving results and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand enterprise customers’ strategic priorities and challenges.
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or MarTech, or alternatively in digital marketing solutions, e-commerce, or related technology.
Up-to-date with marketing trends and digital innovation, understanding the broader tech and marketing landscape.
Driven and self-motivated, comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced environment with a focus on continual growth.
Natural ability to sell and inspire, conveying the value of software, digital, media, and tech solutions with confidence.
Structured and organised, capable of following processes while adapting to enterprise sales complexity.
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence and engage with senior executives and multi-level decision-makers.
Full professional proficiency in English. Additional language skills in relevant markets are a plus.
